Nectarine & Nut Dessert

Ingredients

  • 3 cups nectarines, sliced
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 TBS flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup walnuts or pecans, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 TBS confectioner’s sugar

Instructions

Arrange nectarines in 1 1/2 quart casserole. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup granulated sugar mixed with flour. Beat eggs until thick; then, beat in remaining granulated sugar and salt. Stir in nuts and vanilla and spoon over nectaines. Bake at 375 for 30-35 minutes until topping is browned. Sprinkle with confectioner’s sugar.
