Ingredients
- 4 slices bacon, cut into 1 inch pieces
- 1 head green cabbage, coarsely sliced
- 1 small onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup water
Instructions
In a skillet over medium heat, cook bacon until browned. Add remaining ingredients and stir to coat evenly with bacon fat. Add water and reduce heat to low-medium; cover and cook 30 minutes until cabbage is very tender and lightly browned. Stirring occasionally during cooking process.
