- 1 lb. shrimp, shelled and deveined
- 1 TBS olive oil
- 1 TBS unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 TBS honey
- Juice from 2 limes
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- Sesame seeds
- 1/4 tsp. chili flakes
- 1 tsp. fresh ginger, grated
- 3 TBS soy sauce
- 1 tsp. Wild Thymes Thai Chili Sauce
Rinse the shrimp with cold water. Drain and set aside. On low to medium heat, heat a skillet (cast iron preferred). Then, add olive oil, butter, garlic and saute until they turn slightly brown. Stir in the shrimp cooking for a minute or so turning a couple of times. Add the honey, chili flakes, fresh ginger, soy sauce, Thai chili sauce, lime juice and salt. Cook the shrimp until the sauce thickens. Garnish with sesame seeds and serve immediately.
