- 2 sticks of butter
- 2 cups diced celery
- 1 1/2 cups chopped onions
- 18 cups cubed white bread, about 36 slices
- 1/4 cup minced parsley
- 2 tsp. poultry seasoning
- 1 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
- 3 eggs slightly beaten
In an 8 qt. saucepan, melt butter and cook celery and onions until tender, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat; add bread cubes and remaining ingredients; toss to mix well. Use to stuff 12 lb. to 16 lb. turkey. Another option is to spoon stuffing into a 9” x 13” baking dish; cover with foil and bake in a preheated 325 degree oven for 45 minutes or until heated through.
