Marinate for Chicken Wings
- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 1/4 cayenne pepper powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 1 TBS baking powder
- 1 TBS white vinegar
- 1 TBS canola oil
Spicy Garlic Sauce
- 3 TBS minced garlic
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup hot sauce
- 2 TBS honey
- 1 tsp Worchester sauce
Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees. Pat wings dry. Add all the ingredients for the marinade in a bowl and give the wings a good rub with the marinade. Arrange all the marinated chicken wings on a greased baking sheet and bake the wings 15-20 minutes on each side.
Set a saucepan over medium heat. Add butter and when the butter begins to melt add the chopped or minced garlic, stir and simmer until the garlic begins to turn just golden. Turn off the heat and strain the garlic-infused butter. Discard the garlic.
Next, set a saucepan over medium heat and add all the ingredients for the sauce and the garlic-infused butter to the saucepan. Whisk well so that all the ingredients are uniformly distributed to form a sauce and simmer the sauce for 2-3 minutes stirring frequently.
Bring out the crispy hot wings from the oven. Keep the sauce that you just made in a large bowl. Place wings in the sauce and serve with blue cheese or ranch dressing.
